Former Obama cybersecurity head moves to private sector

Sameer Bhalotra, who resigned in January as senior director for cybersecurity for the Barack Obama administration, is about to announce that he is taking a position as chief operating officer at a firm called Impermium, the New York Times reports.

Times reporter Nicole Perlroth described Impermium as "a cybersecurity start-up based in Redwood City, Calif., that wants to clean up the social Web using so-called big data techniques."

So the rath of programmers and IT techs going out to the private sector continues. When they cut our budgets and raises what do they expect us to do, just eat rice and beans. Society has a whole has gotten used to eating out and having different foods on the table. The private sectors continue to grow and give great bonuse and perks, even when they do not give them raises, while the goverment gives us excuses. Cut all those wothless confrences out, management meeting that can be held over video or telephones will save millions in the long haul. Have agencies turn there money back in if they do not use it at the end of the year, but do not penalize them for it when they turn in there budget for next year. That is why they all tend to spend money on equipment and trainings or meetings that are not needed. When will we ever learn to not spank the had that does good, and reward the bad ones. Will we ever grow up? Why are we paying President, Senators, Congressmen, Judges etc... after they leave office. They are no different then anyone else, it is a privilage to hold an office not to be glorified for it. They should put in to retirement just like everyone else and when they leave, that is what they get or go back to work like the rest of the Americans. There was never an intention when our fore fathers wrote the constitution for them to get a free ride for the rest of there lives. It was written for the people not for the politicians. Wake up America, smell the burning ambers.
