GSA's Murphy releases transition funds to Biden

More than two weeks after Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election by the Associated Press, the General Services Administration is releasing $7.3 million in transition funding and making other resources available to the president-elect's team.

*** The Office of Management and Budget released guidance last week on completing the transition to IPV6. The administration is moving away from dual-stack infrastructure supporting IPV6 and its predecessor standard IPV4. Over the long term, the document states, 80% of federal networks should support at l IPV6-only assets by the close of fiscal year 2025.

*** Washington Technology reports that the Department of Justice is being asked to make adjustments to its best-value determinations in its $4.5 billion IT Support Services 5 contract vehicle.
