But what about you newbies out there?

As readers may have noticed, we had a flood of comments responding to the question: “How did you get your federal job?”

And judging from the responses, it seems the path into a federal job may have become less direct—and the application process less straightforward—as time went on.

But here’s a question for any recently hired federal employees out there—maybe folks who have come into the federal government over the last three years or so—how did you get onboard?

Job fair?

College recruiter?

USAJOBS?

Newspaper ad?

Other?
