BlackBerry's patent problems have the ``always-on'' crowd fretting: How can they avoid being unconnected if the Blackberry's legal dispute disrupts their ``e-mail everywhere'' lifestyle?

From now until Feb. 24 -- when a federal judge is expected to issue a ruling in the patent fight -- users of the BlackBerry e-mail and phone device are nervously wondering if they'll have to find an alternative.
