Debating globalization

PBS's NewsHour had a fascinating conversation tonight about globalization -- good or bad. The debate featured NYT columnist Thomas Friedman, author of the best seller The World Is Flat and Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), author of the new book Take This Job And Ship It: How Corporate Greed And Brain-Dead Politics Are Selling Out America.

The NewsHour Web site has both a transcript and a audio version of it. It is a fascinating discussion that has an impact on government IT as well as the country's economy.
