Fed 100 nomination tip #1

'Tis the time for nominations for our annual Fed 100 awards. You can nominate somebody at www.fcw.com/fed100. The announcement about the opening nominations ran in late October and it has many tips for filling out a good Fed 100 nomination. But over the next few weeks, I'll provide some tips about how to do this effectively.

So, tip #1: Tell the judges how this person made a difference. The best way is to just get to the point. Make it clear. Don't muddy it with all this puffy language. Our judges are smart people and they just see right through it. And remember -- this is for people who have made a difference and had influence.
