What are people searching, 2006

Last year, I posted about the top searches on the various search engines. Here was Google's 2005 list and here was Yahoo's list.

Well, Yahoo has posted its 2006 list and they have it broken down in every way you can possibly imagine. (For what it is worth, Britney is the most searched term. Argh! And Steve Irwin's death was the most searched news story.) Yahoo, however, has also done an interactive way of looking at searches.

Google has not posted its most searched terms yet.

And I'd love to see FirstGov's most searched list. That would be edifying for all of us. I have asked them for it and I'll let you know what I head.
