The government Webby winners

The Webby award nominees were announced this morning and the Webbys always have a government category. (The Webby awards are pretty much the granddaddy of the Web world awards program.)

This year's government Webby nominees:

* Annenberg Public Policy Center's FactCheck

* MBTA.com, the official Web site for Greater Boston's Public Transportation System, created by RDVO Inc.

* NYC Economic Development Corp.

* The Library of Congress

* And New Zealand's Wellington City Council Web site
