FCW Insider: The Wizard of USA.gov

Kudos to the team at USA.gov, which has a new public service announcement that is -- as they say up in New England -- wicked creative! It is a takeoff of the Wizard of Oz -- and it is very well done.

The 60-second spot, which has been sent to stations around the country, is a takeoff of The Wizard of Oz. I don't know if they did it in-house or had some firm do it, but... it is very creative...and very well done.

One frustration -- they did post it on YouTube or some other site where people could post it in their blogs or Web sites. You can find it in the bottom corner of the USA.gov home page.. and they have it in a different version (Windows Media or Quicktime) right here... and they even have a Spanish version, apparently...but I uploaded it to YouTube on so I could post it right here for you to see. Frankly, more people will see this PSA on YouTube via blogs than on some TV station at 2 a.m.

So if you are at DHS and and they block YouTube, perhaps you can see it at USA.gov.

USA.gov's other PSAs were quite good, too -- I seem to remember one with a park ranger.
