FCW Insider: Wanted: Inaugural speech writer

Want to write the inaugural speech for the next president?


Well you can't, not really. But you can take part in a contest that online community MeriTalk is sponsoring. Write your best letter to the incoming president and enter via the MeriTalk Web site. The writer of the best letter gets a free trip to Washington D.C. on Jan. 20, 2009. Rep. John Sarbanes (D-Md.) will read the winning letter into the Congressional record.


MeriTalk is primarily aimed at "Generation Y," but older folks are welcome to enter the contest too.
