FCW Insider: FCW gets new editor

After a long search, Federal Computer Week has found its new editor in chief: David Rapp, formerly editor and senior vice president of Congressional Quarterly Inc., will take the reins on Dec. 29.

Rapp will also be editorial director of the 1105 Government Information Group, coordinating the coverage of all the magazines and Web sites in the family.

While at CQ, Rapp created and developed CQ.com, the legislative tracking service. He left in January 2007 to start his own publishing company and created www.travelbeat.net, a network of travel blogs.
