ASQ (hosted by WMATA)

Everyone is talking about jobs and global competition. Some organizations are able to improve and to thrive in spite of the economic downturn and tight government budgets. How? Is it really possible? Many commercial and government organizations have used the Baldrige framework to help them achieve impressive gains. According to NIST Planning Report 11-2, December 2011, the Baldrige Program's benefit-to-cost ratio is 820 to 1. To arrive at this ratio, they compared the benefits received by the 273 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award applicants from 2007 to 2010 with the cost of operating the Baldrige Program. The informative event is free of charge. Participants are invited to pre-register at the ASQ Section 509 website: Performance Excellence SIG Meeting Reg - Feb 9th and attend the networking portion of the meeting, which includes free pizza and soft drinks. Millions of copies of the Baldrige Criteria having been downloaded worldwide. Come to this session to better understand the tangible benefits that have been observed and discuss why they have been achieved. Most importantly, better understand how these benefits might be available to you and your organization.
