Rapper Snoop Dogg joins cybercrime fight

Get ready to bust a rhyme against cyber crime with a contest cosponsored by Symantec's Norton and rapper Snoop Dogg.

Hack is wack, fo' shizzle.

Ready to show off your mad freestyle rap skillz? Snoop Dogg and Symantec's Norton are teaming up to sponsor a video contest for raps about hacking, identity theft and computer viruses.

Yes, that Snoop Dogg. Yes, that Norton. Fo' realz y'all.

The contest is open now at www.hackiswack.com, and the deadline is Sept. 30, according to blogger Mike Lennon at SecurityWeek.

"If you have the skills and bust out the phattest rap, you’ll receive round-trip airfare for two to Los Angeles along with two days and two nights hotel stay to meet with Snoop's management and learn more about his business," Lennon writes. "You’ll also get two tickets to a Snoop Dogg concert and a new laptop pimped out with Norton Internet Security 2011."

The organizers will announce the winner on Oct. 20. The judging criteria include overall creativity, rapping and performing skills, and delivery of a compelling anti-cyber crime message, Lennon writes.
