The General Services Administration is soliciting nominations for its annual Information Resources Management Conference (IRMCO) award, which is presented each year to an individual or a team of federal information technology professionals who has improved service to the public.

Joan Steyaert, deputy associate administrator for IT at GSA, sent a memo late last month to federal chief information officers asking them to submit nominees' names to her office by July 24.

The award will be presented at the 37th annual IRMCO meeting Sept. 2.

Nominations should not exceed two pages in length and should address the three following criteria: leadership in operating across organizational boundaries, ability to treat obstacles as challenges and not barriers and measurable improvements in performance linked to mission objectives.
