DIA taps 8 for IT products, support

The Defense Intelligence Agency today awarded blanket purchase agreements worth a total of $200 million to eight vendors for information technology products and services.

The Defense Intelligence Agency today awarded blanket purchase agreements worth a total of $200 million to eight vendors for information technology products and services.

The BPAs replace similar contracts awarded through DIA's Systems Acquisition and Support Services program for PC notebooks, desktops, servers and peripherals. The BPAs also provide software applications, network management tools and system development and integration services.

The winning vendors are BTG Inc., Compaq Computer Corp., CWPS Inc., Dell Computer Corp., Inacom Government Systems Inc., Intelicom USA, Oracle Corp. and Tracor Enterprise Solutions.
