CSC picks fed IT chief

Computer Sciences Corp. has named Tom Anderson president of its federal sector information technology and science solutions division.

Computer Sciences Corp. has named Tom Anderson president of its federal sector information technology and science solutions division.

Anderson will direct CSC's work for science-oriented agencies, including NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Transportation Department and the Federal Aviation Administration. He will report to Paul Cofoni, president of CSC's Federal Sector business unit, company officials said.

A former vice president at Raytheon Information Solutions, Anderson has more than 20 years of experience, according to CSC officials. He has also worked at Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Federal Data Corp. and Boeing Computer Services.

Anderson replaces Steve Kalish, who is retiring.
