Federal 100: Deb Alderson

Deborah Alderson is no stranger to working well with others. SAIC’s Defense Solutions Group has supported major IT initiatives for the Defense Department, other federal agencies and some state-level organizations, earning an exemplary reputation across a broad spectrum of technology fields.

Not content to rest on those laurels, Alderson was actively involved throughout 2010 in several organizations, including the Army’s BRAC relocation efforts at the Aberdeen Proving Ground and as a board member of Women in Aerospace. She also served as executive sponsor of the SAIC Women’s and Multi-Cultural Networks and chairwoman of the company’s University Relations Council, which teams with academia to introduce youngsters to careers in technology.
