We’d Love to Attend this SECRET Workshop, But . . .

Event could hold the key to safe operation of drones in domestic airspace.

An errant email from the National Defense University invited us to attend a SECRET gabfest Aug. 9 on “the challenges associated with managing automated systems that possess varying degrees of self-initiative in a multi-task, often degraded environment.”

We really would like to attend, in hopes someone might have the solution for the safe operation of drones in domestic airspace.

But, since reporters do not have clearances (for obvious reasons),  we’ll have to pass.

If you do have a SECRET decoder ring, the workshop runs from 8:30-11:30 a.m., room 3210, Lincoln Hall, Fort McNair.
