Dominic Sale is the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Information, Integrity and Access (I2A) within the Office of Governmentwide Policy (OGP) at the General Services Administration (GSA). In this role, Dominic leads a team that helps Federal IT Executives navigate the complexities of the Federal IT landscape – so they can focus on the mission.

Dominic regularly partners with the White House’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to drive change in the Federal government in critical areas such as cyber security, digital government and IT infrastructure. Mr. Sale manages a portfolio of programs ranging from the Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) and the DotGov domain management, to IT accessibility guidance and tools and data center optimization. With a 20year career focused on Federal IT management, Dominic has experience in strategic planning, performance management, process reengineering, and cyber security modernization. He leads a team of technical experts who regularly advise senior government leaders and policymakers on the most pressing IT policy issues, foster interagency communication and coordination, and identify and support activities and new ideas to improve the quality and timeliness of Federal IT service delivery.

Before joining GSA, Dominic spent six years at OMB’s Office of EGovernment and Information Technology, most recently as Chief of Data Analytics and Reporting for the Federal Chief Information Officer. Dominic led OMB’s efforts to improve insights into Federal IT by addressing data quality and timeliness, and bringing to bear analytical talents and tools. Throughout his career there, Dominic has guided the implementation of several high profile transformation initiatives, including the IT Dashboard,,, and Business USA.

Prior to Federal service, Mr. Sale worked in the private sector at BAE Systems and BearingPoint, where he managed enterprise architecture, capital planning and security initiatives at the Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, the Food and Drug Administration, the Department of Transportation, and the Census Bureau. He has worked on a wide variety of federal issues at a number of agencies including the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Postal Service, the U.S. Mint, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the National Park Service.
