Thank You For Attending

Blockchain technology could be a game-changer for government cybersecurity. This distributed ledger system, which first gained prominence for enabling the digital currency Bitcoin, has the potential to help agencies address long-standing cyber gaps in key areas of their operations and services.

If anything could hold blockchain back, it is the assumption that its potential is limited to financial transactions. The technology made Bitcoin feasible because it ensures the security, integrity and privacy of online transactions. But in fact, the same approach could be used to strengthen the cyber infrastructure for a wide range of digital transactions.

This event brought together thought-leaders from government and industry to demystify blockchain, providing attendees with an understanding of how the technology could reshape cybersecurity solutions in such areas as data security and privacy assessments, key management, and application threat modeling.

The event also explored potential use cases, including digital identity, enterprise asset protection, supply chain risk management, and healthcare IT.
