Peter Adams

Director, Product Management


Peter Adams is a Director of Product Management within BMC’s Digital Service Management product organization. Located in Santa Clara, CA, Peter leads a world-wide team of product managers responsible for the Remedy Service Management Suite.

Previous responsibilities at BMC included product management ownership for Remedy Service Desk, Service Request Management and Remedy ITSM user experience innovation. Peter also worked as Lead Product Manager for BMC’s compliance and configuration automation solutions, where he was instrumental in defining BMC’s content strategy for the BladeLogic product line and managed BladeLogic / Remedy integrations.

Prior to joining BMC Software in September of 2008, Peter was managing a product line for a software company in Switzerland, which focused on security solutions for SAP customers. Including earlier positions in R&D, technical marketing and technical alliance management at various leading software vendors, Peter has over 20 years of experience in the IT Operations Management software market, with expert insight into a wide range of disciplines.

Peter holds a masters’ degree in Computer Science from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.
