Benjamin Scribner serves as the Director of Outreach for the Cybersecurity Education and Awareness (CE&A) branch in the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C).
Mr. Scribner has over a decade of experience leading national cybersecurity education and awareness programs for DHS and DoD. He serves as a DHS thought leader and representative, leading engagements that grow and empower the US national cybersecurity workforce His major accomplishments include co-authoring the Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NIST SP 800-181) and leading the development of both the Federal Virtual Training Environment and the NICCS portal, which together provide over 200,000 professionals with access to more than 3,000 cybersecurity courses and save the taxpayers more than $70,000,000 annually.
Mr. Scribner holds a Master of Business Administration from the Olin School of Business and a Master of Science in Information Management from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Washington University in St. Louis.
