Lisa Wolfisch is Deputy Director of the Center for New Media and Promotion at the U.S. Census Bureau. A part of the communications area, the center engages in activities that improve access to and raise awareness around federal statistics. Ms. Wolfisch is a leader in the agency’s Digital Transformation Program which implements new services, cutting-edge digital media, and interactive experiences on Census.gov. Early in her career, she was a senior developer of popular online data access tools and later led the implementation of the highly visited 2010census.gov website. While she has spent most of her career at the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2015, Ms. Wolfisch served as the Director of Digital Communications at the International Trade Administration. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science, loves all things digital and looks to a wide range of sources for ideas and inspiration.
