Mr. Brown is the Director of the Cyber Security Operations Cell (CSOC) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this capacity, Mr. Brown leads a cyber-analysis team conducting defensive cyber operations that protect the confidentially, integrity and availability of National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) IT Services. The CSOC provides NGA leadership and the Intelligence Community (IC) with real-time cyber defense monitoring, cyber incident response, and situational awareness focused on current and future cyber activity affecting the NGA GEOINT mission. Before entering Federal Service in 2008, Mr. Brown spent 10 years as an Associate for Booz Allen. During this time he led numerous information technology (IT) engineering teams supporting the National Reconnaissance Office and NGA. Mr. Brown served in the United States Air Force from 1990 to 1998 as a Secure Communications Cryptographic technician. He finished his military service assigned to the Air Force One ground crew where he maintained and upgraded the Presidential aircraft IT systems while earning his Presidential Service Badge.

Mr. Brown holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from George Washington University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
