Ms. Susan Wedge, an IBM Global Business
Services Vice President, has dedicated her career
to serving U.S. Public Service clients.
She currently leads the company’s Digital
Strategy & Interactive Experience and Cognitive
Process Transformation growth platforms, where
she’s responsible for leading 11 practice areas
across a $500M project portfolio serving the
government and education markets.
In this role, she’s responsible for developing the company’s marketspecific
capabilities in digital strategy, interactive experience, mobile,
IoT, digital commerce, Salesforce, Blockchain, analytics, artificial
intelligence, and cognitive process automation. She leads and
develops over one thousand consultants with diverse skill sets from
entry to executive level. Along with her team, she has consistently
delivered year-over-year growth across key business metrics.
Ms. Wedge is eminent in the market with a focus on the digital
reinvention of Public Service, authoring blogs, speaking at multiple
industry forums, and serving on the Executive Council of the IT
Alliance for Public Service. She’s a 2018 Fed100 winner.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wedge has held a variety of positions of
increasing responsibility. She started as a consulting intern at
American Management Systems where she focused on transforming
her Federal clients’ financial operations and enabling those operations
with software solutions. Ms. Wedge came to IBM in 2002. Since that
time, she has expanded her focus and led numerous teams in the
transformation of all aspects of her clients’ business.
Ms. Wedge holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the
University of Virginia. She currently lives outside of Washington, DC
with her husband and two children.
