Michael leads the Applied Intelligence focus area within Accenture’s federal Human Capital practice. For the past 15 years he has focused on implementing large change initiatives in both private industry and public sector environments. Michael has applied his enterprise organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, and communications planning and execution expertise to guiding complex legislative mandate and Agency-wide strategic initiative implementation efforts at the US Department of Treasury for the past 10 years. In this capacity, Michael has directed organizational transformation efforts associated with implementing the Affordable Care Act, Tax Reform, and other strategic priorities related to technology modernization, identity management, citizen experience, and enforcement optimization. As Accenture’s AI lead within the Human Capital practice, Michael focuses on making sure workforce impacts are always discussed as part of the AI success equation. In addition to facilitating conversations regarding the amazing affect emerging technology will have on improving the citizen experience and driving greater internal operational efficiencies, Michael strives to make sure that Human Capital stakeholders have a seat at the table and that workforce is at the heart of every AI discussion.
