The technologies that power today’s government draw on a global supply chain that is almost unfathomably complex. (Companies producing components for Apple iPhones, for example, have manufacturing operations in nearly 100 countries.) The sprawling nature of supply chains and the critical nature of the technology they produce make them a target of adversaries seeking to compromise U.S. interests. What can agencies do? This panel discussion will explore the challenge, consider measures being pursued by agencies to ameliorate the threat, and look ahead to what securing supply chains might entail in the future.
