Emerging technology is changing the federal government in significant ways, from online portals that facilitate automated transactions to data bases available that are accessible by law enforcement officers in the field. Looking ahead, digital transformation will continue to improve the way government manages data – its collection, storage, analysis, sharing, transmission and security – as a means of improving government, specifically the attainment of agency’s critical missions.
