Data Center Optimization—Stage 2 Options

    Featured Speakers

After eight years of focusing on data center closures and consolidations, OMB is moving on to the next phase—how to improve performance in the remaining centers by increasing the use of virtualization and dynamic allocation on demand; transitioning to provisioned services, such as cloud; or moving to shared services.

In its December guidance on Data Center Optimization Initiative, the Federal Chief Information Officer Suzette Kent laid out a Phase 2 playbook for federal agencies.

This event will look at options for agencies and requirements they must meet with real time experiences from agencies working to make their data centers more efficient.
