Director of Sales – Federal Civilian

Quinten Johnson was named Director of Sales for Juniper Networks Federal group in April 2019. In this capacity, Mr. Johnson is responsible for the revenue, growth and customer satisfaction within all civilian markets that Juniper serves. Prior to coming to Juniper, Mr. Johnson was Vice President – Sales for Nokia’s Federal Public Sector. Before his role at Nokia, Mr. Johnson was with AT&T Government Solutions for 17 years. During his tenure he served in a variety of executive roles including Sales Center Vice President for one of the larger civilian sales centers as well as leading the pre-sales engineering team. Mr. Johnson also was part of SBC Federal Solutions prior to the acquisition of AT&T serving as a Regional Vice President. Prior to SBC, Mr. Johnson was with AT&T Global Network Services where he served as Account Executive in Washington D.C. focusing on the Federal government.
In his current role, Quinten leads a team of strategic account managers that cross all Cabinet level agencies with a focus on Juniper’s switching, routing and security services as well as Juniper’s SDN and SD-WAN products. In addition, Quinten oversees Mist within the civilian market. Mist is Juniper’s recent acquisition, coupling a cloud-driven Wi-Fi offering powered by artificial intelligence.
A native of New Jersey, Quinten relocated to the Washington D.C. area to continue Juniper’s growth within the Federal marketplace. Quinten is a graduate of William Paterson College in Wayne, New Jersey with a B.A. in Psychology and is also a graduate of the Chubb Institute of Computer Technology in Parsippany, New Jersey. He is a member of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) and AFCEA.
Quinten resides in New Jersey with his wife Julie.
