Last year, the administration issued guidance establishing machine learning and artificial intelligence as research priorities for federal agencies. It further created the Select Committee on Artificial Intelligence, in part to promote agencies’ development of AI-related programs and initiatives. To date, those initiatives have leveraged the predictive capabilities of machine learning to forecast critical events, such as component failures on military equipment. Drilling down into the next level of AI application, deep learning technology that mimics the activity of human neural networks will make possible high-quality automated customer service applications. In this session, you’ll learn about the potential of these powerful new tools.
