Vice President for IT Modernization
Coby Holloway is vice president of IT Modernization for (NYSE: SAIC), headquartered in Reston, Virginia. With annual revenues of $6.5 billion and 23,000 employees, SAIC provides system integration, engineering, and IT solutions to defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies.
Holloway became the vice president of IT Modernization in 2019, and in this role, he leads SAIC’s efforts to deliver digital transformation services to the U.S. government, including end-user solutions, cloud adoption, managed services, digital platforms, application modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and infrastructure optimization. He is responsible for strategy and capability development for IT across the company. He also stewards SAIC’s people, partners, and solutions used to deliver IT services to a wide variety of programs across SAIC’s customers.
Holloway joined SAIC in 2008, and has held various technical leadership positions across multiple segments of the company. Most recently, he was the vice president of Cloud Computing and Digital Infrastructure Services where he was responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the company’s cloud integration practice. Prior to joining SAIC, Holloway worked for Lockheed Martin where he was in a chief architect supporting the NASA.
Holloway earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. He is active in leadership in the Boy Scouts of America and Mensa International. He is also a member of the VMware Technical Advisory Board, and a frequent speaker at U.S. government-focused technical events.
