Serena Reynolds serves as the Chief for the Initiative Management Branch within the National Risk Management Center (NRMC) of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Ms. Reynolds currently oversees the management of several portfolios to include Elections Security, Fifth Generation Networks, Pipeline Security, and Supply Chain.
Prior to becoming the Branch Chief, she served as a Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Cybersecurity to shape cybersecurity policy, directives and increase collaboration with international, federal, state, and local partners. Ms. Reynolds also served as the Chief, Emergency Communications Division Communications (ECD), Interoperable Communications and Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP), which provides direct support, subject matter expertise, nationwide best practices, and state specific field knowledge to Federal, State, Local, Tribal and Territorial emergency responders, non-governmental organizations, and government officials.
She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Integrative Studies with a focus on Community Health and additionally holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Biodefense from George Mason University.
