As the Cloud Practice Lead within CGI Federal’s Emerging Technologies Practice, John brings over 20 years of experience building and implementing mission critical systems in the public and private sector. He is responsible for driving the cloud strategy and developing the ecosystem of Hybrid IT solutions at CGI Federal. John oversees an organization responsible for the delivery and operations of cloud-based solutions and the global CGI Unify360 Hybrid IT management suite.
At CGI Federal, John has played a key role in CGI’s position as a market leader in U.S. FedRAMP and DoD-certified Federal cloud offerings, and has driven successful Cloud-based projects across multiple agencies within the U.S. Federal and State and Local governments.
John obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and completed his Master’s degree at Carnegie Mellon University where he focused on Management Information Systems at the Heinz School of Public Policy and Management.
As the chairperson for the ITAPS Cloud Working Group, and member of Microsoft’s Azure Partner Advisory Board and GSA's Cloud Computing Acquisition Forum, John continues to shape and refine the strategies and adoption of Cloud and Hybrid IT services by Federal and State and Local agencies.
