Ms. Betsy Sirk is an Information Technology (IT) Program Specialist for the NASA SEWP Program. Ms. Sirk has over 30 years of leadership experience in program, project, technical, and contract management focused on implementing IT-based solutions in support of NASA’s missions. Under the Office of Management and Budget’s Strategic Sourcing Initiative, Ms. Sirk leads the Government-wide Strategic Solutions (GSS) for Desktops and Laptops Program and the multi-agency Workstations Category Team. Ms. Sirk also serves as the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Electronic and Information Technology Program Manager, ensuring the accessibility of NASA’s IT products and services. Ms. Sirk began her Federal career at NASA Headquarters providing leadership for a variety of agency-wide programs. She served as Director Information Systems for the Office of Space Flight, Deputy Director for Information Resources Management, and Program Manager, Integrated Asset Management. Ms. Sirk held several IT leadership and management positions at NASA Goddard prior to joining SEWP in early 2014. Ms. Sirk has received numerous awards for her program management and leadership accomplishments. She holds a bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree with distinction in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from the George Washington University.
Ms. Sirk resides in Ashton, Maryland with her husband, and is the proud mom of three sons.
