National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC)
Ed Wilgus is currently an Acquisition Consultant for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC). He has been with NITAAC for seven years and is a recent federal retiree. As the former Deputy Director of NITAAC, he provided oversight for NITAAC’s three OMB Authorized GWACs and managed all issues related to the CIO-SP3 Contracts.
Mr. Wilgus had a very distinguished 33 year federal career with both the Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health.
Mr. Wilgus holds a Level III FAC-C certification with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Contracting.
In addition, Mr. Wilgus is a certified workplace mediator. He has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University.
