Teresa Carrington serves as the Director of the General Services Administration Federal Acquisition Service, Integrated Technology Services’ National Information Technology Commodity Program (NITCP). Teresa has excess of 24 years of federal civilian and military experience including the full range of acquisitions and procurements. Teresa currently leads a diverse team of acquisitions, information technology, and business management professionals. The NITCP procures information technology commodities and ancillary services for customers located nationwide using innovative solutions.
Teresa served in numerous positions including Director, Deputy Director, Senior Procurement Analyst, Branch Chief, and Senior Contracting officer for the Region 4 Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services.
Prior to GSA, Teresa entered her career with the federal government very early during college in the
Stay in School Program and Cooperative Internship Program in Contracting; upon graduation in full time public servant in the Palace Acquire Leadership Program in Contracting of the Air Force at Maxwell-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, Alabama. Teresa worked for the United States Air Force, 42nd Contracting Squadron and Standard Systems Group at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. During this career tenure, Teresa served as Acting Flight Chief, Work Center Leader, and Senior Contracting Officer.
