Jack is the Federal Cloud Client Executive for CDW-G. He supports all Federal Civilian and DoD Agencies. He meets regularly with the technology leaders of agencies to help plan and architect cost-effective technology solutions particularly in the areas of virtualization, data center consolidation and Cloud computing. Prior to coming to CDWG, Jack spent 9 years at the U.S. House of Representatives where he was the Director of Enterprise Operations. His responsibilities included directing the activities of over 60 staff and contractors to deliver IT services within an ITIL framework for the House’s 12k seat enterprise. He was instrumental in architecting and delivering Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for IT services following the 9/11 and Anthrax attacks. Jack received the Distinguished Service Award, the House’s highest honor, for his efforts. He later led transformational initiatives in virtualization and consolidation that led to millions of dollars in documented savings while adding new IT capabilities and significantly enhancing the overall security posture of the enterprise. For those efforts, he accepted the prestigious Green IT award from the Uptime Institute on behalf of the House. Prior to his role at the U.S. House, Jack worked at the White House Communications Agency traveling on Presidential missions where he led teams responsible for the communications capabilities for the President, Vice-President, Senior Staff, Air Force 1, HMX-1, the US Secret Service and National Security Council. He's worked directly with individuals at the highest levels of government. Jack has a 20+ year history of documented success in government IT. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and holds numerous technical certifications.
