Josh Salmanson (CISSP, CSSLP, CSM, CEA) is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary technology leader with a background in creative problem solving for complex technical programs. Equally at home among business and technology stakeholders, Josh builds solutions tailored to business and mission needs, aligned to operational realities.
Mr. Salmanson has 25+ years of technology, sales and business leadership. Josh he has been a major part of high growth federal teams, leading one as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) from $35M/yr. to over $650M/yr. over 5 years within the Federal Sector. He is a dynamic technology business leader who has built multiple high performance teams over the years. Experience includes due diligence and technical evaluation of companies for acquisition and operational leadership through transition for more than a dozen M&A events.
Mr. Salmanson has two decades of direct experience in designing, deploying and managing highly available systems, secure data centers and facilities, and networks for a variety of clientele. His broad technical skills-base includes enterprise architectures; systems engineering and application development; complex, large-scale system integration; security operations and information assurance; network/systems management platforms; infrastructure and network design; test, deployment, and enterprise operations. Josh’s comprehensive knowledge of technologies, best practices and program execution allows him to design, implement, deliver and manage systems to meet the most complex requirements and business needs.
Currently, Josh is the CTO for Converged Security for Parsons Defense and Security Division, leading a vibrant converged security practice integrating cybersecurity, physical security and critical infrastructure protection solutions into comprehensive, integrated, defensible and resilient eco-systems.
