Vice President, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - IoT/Global Critical Infrastructure


As FireEye Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Control System (ICS) Security, and Global Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), Ryan Brichant oversees the Strategy, Implementation, Product and Partnership Development within these three key sectors and works with customers worldwide to address today’s evolving threat landscape.

Ryan has over 18 years of experience in Cyber Security having been previously both a Chief Technology Officer and Chief Cybersecurity Officer for two large Fortune 100 companies. He joined FireEye in 2015 and has since led the company’s strategic vision and customer success in protecting our world most Critical Infrastructures and Assets. Prior to FireEye, Ryan was the Senior Vice President and Chief Cybersecurity Officer for Siemens’ Global Plant Cyber Security Services Division. In this role, he worked closely with the C-Level and Board of Directors for some of the world’s largest Fortune 500 Manufacturing and Industrial companies to help create and improve their Enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Programs.

Before Siemens, Ryan was the Chief Technology Officer for Strategic Technologies and Critical Infrastructure at Intel Security, a Cyber Security Division within Intel Corporation, formerly known as McAfee Inc. Prior to Intel Security, Ryan served 10 years in the United States Air Force as an Advanced Cyber Security Engineer and has been stationed all over the world to include Japan and Portugal prior to returning back to the United States.

Ryan was recently accepted as a Fellow with the Institute of Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT) which is the leading next generation cybersecurity think tank providing objective, non-partisan advising to the legislative community, federal agencies and critical infrastructure sectors.

Ryan holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Management, Computer Information Systems from Park University in Parkville, Missouri.
