Opening Remarks by: Jeremy Wilson

Jeremy A. Wilson is an accomplished IT professional with over 20 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity. Mr. Wilson began his career designing and integrating multi-level security systems and cross-domain solutions for the US federal government.

He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of BMC Federal working closely with the executive leadership team to help agencies transform into the Digital Enterprise. Additionally, he is responsible for ensuring BMC complies with all federal standards so agencies have everything necessary to drive their missions forward and keep their resources secure.

Prior to joining BMC, Mr. Wilson was a member of Raytheon’s CTO Council and the Director of Strategic Initiatives where he focused on solving information sharing challenges for Raytheon’s extensive portfolio of customers such as the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, as well as Civilian agencies. He also held key roles with both SAIC and General Dynamics as a Chief Technology Advisor and Architect where he was responsible for a vast number of duties such as system design, technical assessments, security & policy auditing, strategic planning, and certification & accreditation.

Some of Mr. Wilson's career highlights include developing the multi-level security and cross-domain solutions footprint in international territories and coalition countries such as Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Canada; Chief Technology Advisor on multiple enterprise contract awards within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community; developed new profitable markets applicable to information sharing capabilities within Healthcare, Financial, Education, and Law Enforcement industries.

Mr. Wilson has spoken at number of technical events and sessions and is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP), and the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
