Rebecca is the Acting Executive Director of 18F. She leads 150 designers, developers, product managers, and strategists in partnerships with other federal agencies to improve the user experience of government. Previously, Rebecca was the Acting Director of Product and the Deputy Executive Director at 18F. At 18F, Rebecca led efforts to provide more efficient services to its partner agencies and led the 18F team that helped the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services design myUSCIS, where people can learn about immigration and apply to be a U.S. citizen online.
Prior to 18F, Rebecca was a product and project manager for Booz Allen Hamilton, partnering with federal clients on cybersecurity engagements. Before that, she was a software developer that worked with state and local agencies on tax and transportation systems. Rebecca has a Bachelors of Computer Science from Tulane University and is a certified Project Management Professional. She lives in Washington, DC with her spouse and daughter.
