Thanks for Attending!

Transitioning to the cloud can bring a maelstrom of management, budgeting and other challenges without the right information and support. Governmentwide services such as the Technology Modernization Fund and GSA’s Technology Transformation Services -- including FedRAMP, cloud.gov and the IT Modernization Centers of Excellence -- can smooth the path. So, too, can learning from those who have successfully launched cloud in their agencies.

Throughout government, there are multiple examples for optimizing cloud computing. One of the best ways to ensure success is to hear from others on their cloud experiences. At this event, government and industry leaders were brought together to share best practices and lessons learned in the cloud. Some topics addressed at the event include:

  • NIST updates to standards and guidelines
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Maximizing cloud for emerging technologies
  • Multi-cloud v. hybrid cloud
