As senior managing consultant for IBM, Krobot brought some good business sense to the federal government's Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB).

The HR LOB, led by the Office of Personnel Management, is an effort to consolidate HR systems across agencies. Krobot led the effort to update the cost/benefit analysis for this undertaking. His work will enable OPM to establish a new and more accurate baseline for total cost savings or cost avoidance by using the HR LOB and track the progress of agencies using the program.

“With his expert understanding of federal information technology investments and his leadership qualities, Mr. Krobot has contributed greatly to the transition of the HR LOB from a concept to a fully fledged, operational solution that is helping to transform the way the government does business,” said Reginald Brown, OPM's director of modernization and HR LOB.
