Tablet computers are either the fad of the moment or the start of a real shift in IT form factors. Either way, they're all the rage right now.

Federal employees are just as likely to be drawn to the devices' sleek, compact portability as anyone else and, where agency policies allow, might want to use a tablet PC in their work.

In some cases, agencies might be choosing and buying the devices for employees.

Apple's iPad line is perhaps the most well-known tablet, but is it the best?
