Of the 81 percent of people surveyed in a new study who use personal device for work, more than half fail to take the most basic steps to secure their devices and data, a new study has found.

And they’re using those devices for work whether their employers have officially OK’d it or not, reports Kevin McCaney at GCN.com, a sister site to FCW.com. Two-thirds of those who use a personal device for work say their organization does not have a “bring your own device” policy.
