Technology Modernization Fund Executive Director Raylene Yung and Christian Hoehner of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee join the podcast to talk TMF, FedRamp Authorization and more.

In 2022, the Technology Modernization Fund — a centralized revolving fund that provides loans to federal agencies looking to upgrade their technology — scaled up after receiving a $1 billion investment in the American Rescue Plan Act. That coincided with the FedRAMP Authorization Act becoming law, years after the cloud program’s initial introduction.

To learn about the stories behind both and more about how federal tech and cyber policy gets made, FCW had Fed 100 winners Raylene Yung, the executive director of the General Services Administration’s Technology Modernization Fund, and Christian Hoehner, the policy director for the Republican staff on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Committee, join the pod.

The FCW Insider Chat is a five-episode podcast exploring the winners of this year’s Federal 100, the original and most prestigious awards for the federal IT community.
