Army Corps gives AT&T networking nod
AT&T will get $2.2 million over five years to supply network services to 34 offices.
The Army Corps of Engineers warded a five-year, $2.2 million data networking contract to AT&T Government Solutions. The company will supply networking services to 34 regional offices in four states.
The regional offices are part of the Corps' Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
AT&T will build a Multi-Protocol Label Switching-based, IP-enabled frame relay network to allow personnel in the offices to exchange large amounts of data.
