Microsoft woos PeopleSoft users

PeopleSoft users unsure what to do in the wake of Oracle's takeover of the enterprise software developer have a new suitor from Redmond, Wash.
Microsoft is offering a migration program for PeopleSoft customers who are ready to switch.
The program provides migration technology, discounts on Microsoft Business Solutions software and services, and strategic consulting, according to a Microsoft announcement.
"Businesses that use PeopleSoft technology are facing some difficult choices today, and we're committed to providing them with the best options for moving forward," said Doug Burgum, senior vice president at Microsoft.
