Remember when...?

Federal Computer Week took the pulse of the federal information technology community in 1999 and came up with a list of what was hot and what was not. If you react the way we did when we recently reread the list, you’ll have mixed feelings about the 1999 represented in the right-hand column. For example, what’s a Smith Corona PC? Or Eunomia? Other entries seem oddly fresh — for example, critical infrastructure protection and government credit cards. And how about cyberterrorists? The more things change, the more they stay — interesting.
